Visiting Santa

We took Lily to see Santa and then, out for dinner. It was our way to kick off this year's Holiday, and a fun night for the family.
We weren't really sure what Lily was up to at this point, but the picture turned out cute.
This is "Lily's" Christmas Tree ... that is what she calls it. She helped decorate the tree, loves playing with the ornaments,  and eats the candy canes. I'm not looking forward to her disappointment when we take the tree down.
Lily was sooooo good for Santa. She never got upset and sat very peacefully on his lap. She just looked around at all of the people and the decorations. She tends to be a little shy in those situations. She was quiet, but seemed excited about everything around her.
We tried really hard to get Lily to smile ... she was just taking it all in. We hope this Christmas is a Merry one for all of our family and friends and that 2009 is the best yet.

I Love Turkey Day

First I slept in. Then we ate a big breakfast and watched the Macy's Day parade. Then mommy and daddy worked in the yard and let me play, play, play ... it was a BLAST! We went to Jessica and Rich's house for our first deep fried turkey ... and these homemade fried potato chips. Corn and Cranberry Sauce are also 2 of Lily's favorites. It was delicious ... or as Lily would say, "Delicioso". When I saw the dessert table, I couldn't keep from smiling. Mommy, Daddy and my other relatives let me try whatever I wanted, and believe me ... I did!! Thanksgiving was a just as fun as Halloween, but something tells me that I'm going to enjoy Christmas even more. It won't be long now.
